Power Outage At Cedar Point: Rides Coming Back Online
Ohio Edison is currently on the scene and trying to restore power, Cedar Point said.

SANDUSKY, OH — Part of the Cedar Point amusement park was without power Friday, the park announced on social media. Rides are now being slowly brought back online.
Ohio Edison crews are currently on the scene and working with park officials.
More than 9,000 Ohio Edison customers are currently without power in Erie County, where Cedar Point is located. The majority of outages are located around the Sandusky metro area, according to FirstEnergy's website.

The energy company is currently estimating that power will be restored to the majority of impacted customers by 3 p.m. The company said it is investigating what caused the outages.
