- The Cleveland woman charged in the shooting of Cleveland Police officer Shane Bartek has now been accused of torching a car in the Central neighborhood. Tamara McLoyd, 18, has been charged with a fourth-degree felony of arson. Lorain County prosecutors are seeking to sentence McLoyd to an adult prison for violating the terms of her probation. - Former Cleveland City Council president and previous mayoral candidate is seeking to become a Cuyahoga County Common Pleas judge. Kevin Kelley has filed with the county's Board of Elections to run in the Democratic primary for the position. The primary will take place on May 3, 2022. (cleveland.com)
- According to Major League Baseball, the Cleveland Guardians have finalized their agreement to upgrade Progressive Field and to extend the team's lease. Officials with the Guardians expect ballpark renovations to occur over the next several years with work starting after the 2022 season. The renovations include the upper deck concourse, larger social space behind home plate, and clubhouse work. (MLB.com)
