Renowned Explorer Coming To Cleveland
Robert McCracken Peck has been everywhere — from the Andes to the Amazon.

CMNH: Robert McCracken Peck, senior fellow at the Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia, comes to the Cleveland Museum of Natural History on Friday, October 26, to talk about his life of exploration and his experiences spanning the ends of the earth for science through exploration. Peck has spent his life exploring the world, from the Andes to the Amazon, and the Himalayas to the Mongolian steppes. He will share hilarious, terrifying, but mostly fascinating tales of his adventures. Peck is a recipient of the Explorer Club’s renowned Explorer’s Award and the Garden Club of America’s Sarah Chapman Francis Medal for environmental writing, and has been honored by other organizations for his contributions to exploration and the interpretation of natural history through his many lectures and publications.
