Rite Aid Opening Coronavirus Testing Site In Northeast Ohio

The pharmacy chain will offer up to 200 tests daily at one of its stores in Northeast Ohio.

PARMA, OH — Rite Aid is opening a self-swab testing site for the new coronavirus in Northeast Ohio. The facility expect to be able to conduct 200 tests daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients will have to pre-register for tests and schedule appointments online.

The Northeast Ohio testing site will be located at the Rite Aid at 5795 State Road in Parma. All testing will be overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists. The site will begin testing on Monday, according to a Rite Aid news release.

The pharmacy chain is simultaneously opening testing sites in Toledo, Michigan, New Jersey and New York on Monday. The testing sites are the result of a partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
