As has become routine in the era of instant overreaction, fans took to Twitter to both praise and condemn the Rock Hall's nominees.

At least one of the bands, the Zombies, has already spent some time in the Rock Hall. The British Invasion-era rock band is the subject of a special exhibit that opened July 12. The surviving members of the band were on hand for the debut and dedication event.
