Police said two people attempted to carjack a vehicle at Zappy's and the two suspects were armed and approached the driver of a Chevrolet Impala and tried to steal the car. A spokesperson for the FBI told Patch that these two suspects are believed to have been the attempted carjackers.

The driver fled the area on foot but the suspects were unable to get away with the car. About one hour later two suspects attempted another carjacking on Effingham Avenue in Euclid. You can read more about those incidents here.
