Cleveland Law Enforcement Arrest Teenage Bank Robbery Suspect

EUCLID, OH - Police have arrested Duwuan Jackson, 17, one part of a teenage duo wanted in connection with a series of bank robberies and attempted car jackings. Jackson was located at an address on Muskoka Avenue in Cleveland.

Euclid Police, FBI Violent Crime Task Force and the United States Marshals worked in conjunction to located and apprehend Jackson. The other people at the address on Muskoka were also arrested for harboring a wanted fugitive. Those people will be charged through the county prosecutor's office.

Law enforcement are still looking for Daylon Acton, Jackson's 15-year-old partner. Police say Acton is believed to be armed and dangerous. Here's a photo of Acton:

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful arrest and prosecution of Acton. Tips can remain anonymous and can be provided to the Cleveland FBI, Euclid PD, or Crimestoppers.

The FBI says that last week there were a pair of attempted carjackings in Euclid, including an incident at Zappy's Car Wash. Police said two people attempted to carjack a vehicle at Zappy's. The two suspects were armed and approached the driver of a Chevrolet Impala and tried to steal the car. A spokesperson for the FBI told Patch that these Jackson and Acton are believed to have been the attempted carjackers.

The driver fled the area on foot but the suspects were unable to get away with the car. About one hour later two suspects attempted another carjacking on Effingham Avenue in Euclid. You can read more about those incidents here.
