Safe Kids Greater Cleveland recognizes Goldfish Swim School for their local water safety advocacy

At the annual Greater Cleveland Safe Kids/Safe Communities Member Recognition Meeting held in September, Goldfish Swim School of Fairview Park and Goldfish Swim School of Cleveland East Side were recognized for their contributions to local efforts to raise awareness about water and swim safety in the Cleveland area.

Goldfish Swim School was awarded a Safe Kids Greater Cleveland Award for their outstanding effort in the area of Water Safety. In addition, Goldfish Swim School was awarded a Speed Dial Award for their willingness to step up and help with whatever the Safe Kids organization needs.

“Safe Kids Greater Cleveland is one of our most important local partnerships and we love working with them,” said Sonali Morris, owner of Goldfish Swim School Cleveland East Side and Fairview Park. “We are always grateful for the opportunity to partner with Safe Kids to bring our water and swim safety message to more and more families each year.”

In addition to partnering with Safe Kids, Goldfish Swim School participates in several other community outreach efforts including:

• Offering a free water safety presentation geared towards kids ages six and under to schools and community groups
• Sharing water safety information with local parent groups
• Being onsite at local fairs, festivals and events to engage kids in the topic of water safety through games and other activities.

Goldfish Swim School of Cleveland East Side and Fairview Park provide swim instruction to children ages 4 months to 12 years-old in a unique setting with highly trained instructors, small class sizes (max 4:1 student to teacher ratio), shiver-free 90-degree pools, and a state-of-the-art water purification system. In addition to swim lessons, Goldfish Swim School offers weekly family swims (for both members and non-members) and party packages. Facility highlights include an air conditioned viewing gallery for parents to watch lessons, a spacious family dressing area with private changing rooms, snack bar, retail shop and a warm, tropical décor.
