Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Cuyahoga County
The National Weather Service said a storm could produce hail, damaging high winds and wreak havoc on the area.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Cuyahoga County.
The National Weather Service said the watch went into effect at 1:20 p.m. and will remain in effect until 8 p.m. The thunderstorm watch is in place for much of Northeast Ohio.
"A strong thunderstorm could produce dangerous hail, high wind or cause significant damage," Lorain County said in an alert message sent out on Tuesday afternoon. Patch will update this story if there are power outages impacting residents throughout the day.

The risk of thunderstorms continues into Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service said. The threats of hail and damaging winds could continue throughout the evening into Wednesday morning.
There is currently a 60 percent chance of thunderstorms on Wednesday and a 70 percent chance of thunderstorms on Thursday.
