Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Cuyahoga County

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for Cuyahoga County.

The National Weather Service said that strong winds and hail could accompany the storm on Wednesday afternoon. The thunderstorm watch will remain in effect until 9 p.m.

A quarter to a half an inch of rain could fall during the afternoon, with another half inch of rain possible throughout the evening, based on forecasts. Temperatures could drop into the high 50s.

The thunderstorm watch is in effect for much of Northern Ohio, including neighboring Cuyahoga County.

The weather should be cloudy but dry by late Thursday morning.
