Severe Thunderstorms Possible Thursday In Northeast Ohio
As temperatures begin fluctuating, strong to severe thunderstorms are possible throughout Greater Cleveland.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on Thursday afternoon and evening, the National Weather Service warned in a hazardous weather outlook.
"There is a possibility for strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Any stronger thunderstorm will pose a damaging wind and large hail threat. Heavy rain will also be possible with thunderstorms this evening and may lead to localized flooding," the National Weather Service said.
The storms are expected to hit Northeast Ohio, North Central Ohio, Northwest Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania.

There is currently a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms Thursday afternoon, and an 80 percent chance of thunderstorms on Thursday evening and early Friday morning. Temperatures are expected to drop more than 20 degrees in less than 24 hours, according to forecasts.
Thursday's temperature high is expected to be 80 degrees. By Thursday night, temperatures could plunge to 59 degrees. The storms will leave cooler temperatures in place throughout the weekend, even as the storms are expected to abate by Friday night.

There is currently a 40 percent chance of rain on Friday afternoon, while Saturday should be partly cloudy and dry. Temperatures are not expected to break 65 degrees throughout the weekend.
