Severe Thunderstorms Possible Tonight, Tomorrow In Northeast Ohio
Inclement weather could hammer parts of Northern Ohio on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
CLEVELAND — There is a chance for severe thunderstorms on Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service announced. The inclement weather could bring large hail and 60 mph winds to Northeast Ohio.
"Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move into the area late this evening. There is a marginal risk of severe weather with thunderstorms with wind gusts to 60 mph and large hail as the primary threats," the National Weather Service said in a hazardous weather outlook.
Storms could start at 10 p.m. on Tuesday and continue through 5 a.m. on Wednesday, the agency said. There is currently a 60-percent chance of storms on Tuesday evening.

The storms could hit much of Northern Ohio, including Cuyahoga, Lorain, Lake, Geauga, Summit and Erie counties, among many others. The storms are expected to hit the eastern portions of Northern Ohio the hardest, with inclement weather stretching into Western Pennsylvania.
Once the storms clear the region on Wednesday morning, the rest of the week will be sunny and clear. The National Weather Service forecasts show a beautiful work week, with blue skies and highs in the low- to mid-70s.
