Shooting In Cleveland: 1 Killed, 1 Hurt

CLEVELAND — Two people were shot, and one was killed, on Cleveland's east side on Monday night. Police are currently looking for two possible gunmen.

A little after 10 p.m. on Monday night, police were called to the 1400 block of East Boulevard for reports of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 22-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds and began giving him first aid.

EMS took the 22-year-old to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police learned a 27-year-old was also shot, in the neck, during the incident and was taken to University Hospitals.

Witnesses told police two men wearing all black clothing shot at the two men and then ran off. Members of the homicide unit were called to East Boulevard for the investigation.

Police said there is no further information available at this time but the investigation is ongoing.
