Shooting At Cleveland Gas Station: 1 Dead, 1 Hurt

A 48-year-old woman was killed in a shooting at a Cleveland gas station on Tuesday.

CLEVELAND — A woman was shot and killed at a gas station in Cleveland on Tuesday morning, police announced.

At 4:30 a.m. callers reported a shooting at a gas station in 4000 block of E. 131st Street. When police arrived, they found a 48-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her chest. EMS gave the woman first aid but then declared her dead.

Investigators believe the woman and two other people were arguing in the parking lot when two unidentified men approached them, pulled out guns and began shooting.

Police said a second person, a 26-year-old woman, was also hurt during the shooting. She was shot in the arm and in the back, according to a police spokesperson.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit are investigating the shooting. No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.
