Shooting On Cleveland's West Side: 1 Dead, 1 Injured

Cleveland police said two men burst into a home on Roehl Avenue and opened fire on Saturday.

CLEVELAND — One man was killed and another was wounded during a shooting on Cleveland's west side on Saturday. Police said they are currently looking for two suspects connected to the attack.

The shooting happened just after midnight on Saturday. Police were called to a home on Roehl Avenue, near Lincoln West High School. When officers arrived they found two men with multiple gunshot wounds and an unharmed woman.

All three people were taken to MetroHealth. One of the men, William Hoskins, 46, died at the hospital.

Investigators learned two men came to the Roehl Avenue home and started banging on the door. When the door was opened, one of the suspects ran inside and started shooting.

Both suspects then ran out of the house and drove off in an unidentified car.

Members of the Cleveland police homicide unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office are taking part in the investigation into the shooting.
