Shooting On Cleveland's West Side: 2 Dead, 1 Wounded
Police said five people in a car -- including two children -- were shot at on Sunday morning.
CLEVELAND — Two people were shot to death in a Nissan Pathfinder on Cleveland's west side on Sunday morning, Cleveland police announced. A third person in the car is being treated with a head wound. Two children were also in the vehicle, but were unharmed.
At 12:30 a.m. officers were called to W. 31st Street for reports of a shooting. Five people inside a Pathfinder were targeted, according to callers.
A 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, both in the front seats of the SUV, had been shot multiple times. They were both pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

There were three people in the backseat, including two children. The adult suffered a head wound, police believe it could be a gunshot wound. That person remains in treatment at MetroHealth.
The children were unharmed. They are the children of the woman killed in the front seat.

Investigators believe a dark colored SUV fired at the Pathfinder and then drove off. Detectives are still investigating the shooting.
