Here are the top stories in Cleveland today:

  1. A 31-year-old man was shot to death outside of a bar on W. 25th Street on early Saturday.
    At 2 a.m., Cleveland police were called to the parking lot of ABC Tavern. When officers arrived, EMS was already giving the 31-year-old first aid. He was then pronounced dead in the parking lot. (Cleveland Patch)
  2. The Cleveland District of the Small Business Administration gave out more in traditional loans than it did in the 2020 fiscal year, a sign the economy could be on its way back amid the lingering COVID-19 pandemic. The Cleveland District, which covers Northern Ohio, reports that $554.5 million were borrowed through the SBA's traditional loan program in fiscal 2021 that ended Sept. 30. According to data from SBA, the Cleveland district gave out 1,687 traditional loans in the 2021 fiscal year, up from 1,353 in 2020 and 1,480 in 2019. (cleveland.com)
