  1. A grand re-opening is planned for Saturday in support of several businesses that launched in Cleveland just months before the coronavirus pandemic hit. Organizers are encouraging people to visit Black-owned businesses at the Shops at GlenVillage to give them a fighting chance to survive during this tough economy. (Cleveland 19 News)
  2. The Cleveland Division of Fire battled a fire late Wednesday at a Burger King in Cleveland's Cudell neighborhood. The blaze broke out around 10:30 p.m. due to an exhaust fan on the roof, the fire department confirmed. The fast-food joint, located at Lorain Avenue and W. 110th Street, was closed at the time of the fire. (Cleveland 19 News)
  3. The Cleveland Orchestra has announced six musician appointments for the 2021 to 2022 Severance season, including five new members and one who has moved up within his section. Four already have started work and two are slated to begin next year. (cleveland.com)
