Showers, Thunderstorms Possible This Weekend: Forecast
Northeast Ohioans could be in for a wet weekend.
CLEVELAND — Showers and thunderstorms are likely this weekend, the National Weather Service said.
While the end of the work week will see partly cloudy skies and warm temperatures, the weekend will likely see showers and possible thunderstorms throughout the region.
Rain is likely to begin after 2 p.m. on Saturday, the agency predicted. Up to a quarter inch of rain could fall in areas, though more rain could fall during thunderstorms.

There's currently a 60 percent chance of rain on Saturday afternoon. Those showers have a 40 percent chance of giving way to thunderstorms.
Rainfall could continue through Saturday evening and into early Sunday, forecasts show. Thunderstorms could also form in parts of Northeast Ohio overnight.

There's a 50 percent chance rain continues on Sunday, though thunderstorms are only likely in the evening.
As a result of the rainfall, temperatures will drops from the mid-80s to the high 70s, according to forecasts.
