Spilled Paper Rolls Closed Ohio Highway, I-271 Now Open

An overturned tractor trailer closed down I-271 south, at the I-480 split in Oakwood, on Thursday morning.

OAKWOOD, OH — An overturned tractor trailer sent large rolls of paper spilling onto I-271 south, near the I-480 east split, on Thursday morning. The accident closed down the highway and caused motorists to be diverted, the Ohio Department of Transportation said.

The crash was first reported at about 2:30 a.m., according to Cleveland 19. At 9:45 a.m., the highway re-opened to the public, ODOT said.

There is no word yet on the driver's condition, or when the highway is expected to re-open.
