Suspect Robs Family Dollar In Cleveland, Threatens Man

Police are asking the public for help finding a man that stole merchandise from a Cleveland Family Dollar store.

CLEVELAND — Police are asking the public for help identifying a man that robbed a Family Dollar in Cleveland and threatened a person that tried to stop him.

On June 20, a man walked into Family Dollar at 12915 Buckeye Road and began grabbing merchandise off the shelves. One of the people in the store tried to stop the man, but the suspect turned around and said, "You really want to die for this?"

The suspect then walked out of the store. He was last seen getting into a car and driving towards Dave's Supermarket in Shaker Square.

Police got video surveillance of the robbery and released a still image of the suspect to the public on Monday. The suspect is a man with a beard. He wore a black jacket with white stripes on the sleeves, possibly an Adidas jacket, and jeans.

The man appeared to get into a Mercury Mountaineer SUV.
