SWAT Stand-Off Ends Peacefully In Cleveland
A 33-year-old man was taken into custody on Saturday night after a brief stand-off with police.
CLEVELAND — A 33-year-old man was taken into custody after a stand-off with SWAT officers in Cleveland on Saturday night. A police spokesperson said the man is accused of assault on a police officer.
At 11 p.m., SWAT was called to a home in the 3200 block of Berea Road. Officers were told a man had barricaded himself inside the house.
By 1:30 a.m., the stand-off had ended and the man surrendered to police. He was taken into custody without incident, according to a police spokesperson.
