Thanksgiving, Black Friday Cuyahoga Co. Mall Hours: Where to Shop
Some malls and national chains scale back on Thanksgiving hours; many retailers move full-speed ahead.

OHIO - Black Friday is still a thing, but it may not be the stampeding craze it’s been in past years.
Among the stores foregoing Thanksgiving hours are Apple,At Home, Barnes & Noble, Cabela’s, Burlington Coat Factory, Costco, Crate and Barrel, DSW, GameStop, Home Goods, Jo-Ann Fabrics, Nordstrom, Pier 1 Imports, Pottery Barn, Staples, and T.J. Maxx.
Many national chains are open for Thanksgiving hours, including Walgreen’s and Meijer, which will be open all day, and JCPenney, which opens at 3 p.m. Some others are Target, Best Buy, Toys R Us, Kohl’s, Sears, Macy’s, Kmart, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Office Depot, Gordman’s and Sports Authority

Most local malls will open their doors on Thanksgiving Day, including:
- Beachwood Place, closed Thanksgiving Day, opening at 6 a.m. for Black Friday
- Crocker Park, closed
- Legacy Village, some stores open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., Giant Eagle open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- SouthPark Mall, open from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Tower City, Cinemas open 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Morton's open from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
