Thousands Still Without Power in Northeast Ohio
Power should be back on by 11 a.m., FirstEnergy tells residents.

More than 11,000 Northeast Ohioans are still without power this morning. FirstEnergy told residents they could expect their power to be restored by 7 a.m. this morning. Now they are telling residents it may be 11 a.m. before the lights are back on.
The East Side appears to have been hit hardest by the inclement weather. Strong wind gusts have left hundreds near Beachwood and Cleveland Heights without power. Much of Larchmere Boulevard appears to be without power. FirstEnergy says it has dispatched crews to restore the area to full power. Yet, there are pockets of outages around those two suburbs that are still waiting for crews.
On the West Side, pockets of Avon are still without power and have not yet had crews dispatched to their area. Route 61, Haynes Road, and Stoney Ridge Road all have reported outages that have not yet been addressed by FirstEnergy. Inclement weather is listed as the culprit behind all of the outages.

Up to 20 homes may be dark on Belle Avenue, for instance, this morning.
Temperatures this morning are in the low 30s, but are expected to climb throughout the day. The high will be 48 degrees today. The strong winds from yesterday have been tamed quite a bit and gusts are now being recorded at 8 mph.
