Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:
- Cleveland Police are conducting an investigation into the murder of three people on Saturday. Alvarez McLaughlin, 45, was found dead in his vehicle in the 12300 block of Parkhill Avenue. An unidentified man was shot and killed while sitting in his parked car in the 900 block of E. 141st Street. Another unidentified man was shot and killed in the 10600 block of Amor Avenue. Anyone with information about any of the shootings is being directed to contact the Cleveland Police Department. (Cleveland 19 News)
- The Cleveland Police Department and school leadership at Cleveland's St. Aloysius-St. Agatha School are investigating an incident involving drug-laced candy. Two students ate candy laced with an unknown substance after being offered the candy by another student. The students were allegedly not told the candy was laced. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
- Starbucks employees at a coffee shop on Euclid Avenue have decided to form a union. This is the fourth Cleveland area Starbucks to form a union. The baristas are being represented by Workers United and have filed with the National Labor Relations Board. (cleveland.com)
