CLEVELAND — Thunderstorms are likely in Northeast Ohio on Monday, the National Weather Service said.
Showers could begin in the afternoon and continue overnight, forecasts said. Nearly 1 inch of rain could fall throughout the storms.
"There is a localized flood risk for the heavy rain, especially for areas that have repeating storms or in urban or poor drainage regions. The strongest storms will also have the potential to produce strong winds and, in some cases, reach severe limits," the National Weather Service said.

The showers should end before Tuesday morning. There is a slim chance of showers on Wednesday, but the work week should be otherwise dry and sunny.
