Thunderstorms Likely This Week: Northeast Ohio Forecast
After days of blistering heat, Northeast Ohio could finally see some rain.
CLEVELAND — A multi-day stretch of oppressive heat was broken on Sunday when thunderstorms formed in Northeast Ohio. More rain could soon be on its way.
According to current forecasts, rain and thunderstorms are possible Tuesday night through Wednesday night. The precipitation will keep temperatures in the low- to mid-80s for most of the work week.
Less than .5 inches of rain will fall, unless a thunderstorm forms in your area. Local rainfall amounts may vary.

Temperatures will begin a steady climb upward beginning Thursday morning. Clear blue skies will mark the return of high summer temperatures. By Friday, Northeast Ohioans should expect a high in the mid- to upper-80s.
The weekend could bring more oppressive heat to the region, with current highs projected to be in the 90s. As temperatures begin to rise again, there will be an increased chance of storms in the region.
