Thunderstorms Possible Tuesday In Northeast Ohio
The National Weather Service said it was a "marginal" possibility, but 2,000 people are still powerless after Monday's storms.

CLEVELAND, OH — There is a slight risk of severe weather Tuesday afternoon in Northeast and Northwest Ohio. Powerful thunderstorms could return to an area that was hit by strong winds and sheets of rain on Monday.
"There is a marginal risk of severe weather for much of the area this afternoon and early this evening. A few strong to severe storms may be possible with isolated damaging wind gusts," the National Weather Service said in its Hazardous Weather Outlook.
The chance of thunderstorms is about 50 percent in the early afternoon on Tuesday. The evening has a 60 percent chance of seeing storms develop, the National Weather Service said.

Yesterday's storms were created in part by spiking temperatures, which crested in the low 90s, before rain began to fall. High winds and rain left parts of the east side without power on Monday evening. A little more than 2,000 FirstEnergy customers were still without power Tuesday morning, after the storms.
