Here are the top three stories in Cleveland today:
- A total solar eclipse is coming to Cleveland in 2024. This will be the first time that Ohio residents have been able to experience a total solar eclipse since 1806. If you miss the 2024 total solar eclipse another one will be right around the corner in 2099, according to NASA. Don't forget to mark your calendar. (cleveland.com)
- Cuyahoga County has announced $950,000 to fund 27 urban tree-planting projects. The awarded funds are part of the county's Healthy Urban Tree Canopy Grant Program which has planted over 7,500 trees since 2019. Grant recipients will be working with the Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District to ensure that the new trees are planted properly to guarantee success. (cleveland.com)
- The RagTag traveling circus is coming to Cleveland Heights this weekend. The show kicked off last night, with more performances scheduled for today (Apr. 9) at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. with tickets priced at $15. The circus will feature mind-boggling aerialists, comedic jugglers, and inspiring musicians. (News 5 Cleveland WEWS)
