Here are the top stories in Cleveland today:

  1. A semi driver was killed in a two-car crash on the Ohio Turnpike in North Ridgeville on Tuesday. The semi-tractor-trailer drove off the right side of the road and sideswiped a Hyundai Santa Fe that was disabled in the shoulder. The driver of the Sante Fe, a 30-year-old Ravenna woman, had minor injuries and declined medical treatment. (News 5 Cleveland)
  2. Trick-or-Treat Fest is returning to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo next month. This year's festivities include meet-and-greets with costumed characters, access to 15 trick-or-treat stations, and the return of the Monster Mash Dance Party at the Zoo's amphitheater. Festivities for the daytime event will run Oct. 8 through Oct. 31. (Cleveland Patch)
  3. A video was recently released showing the rescue of two children left in a hot SUV for hours in a Cleveland parking lot last month. (KSN-TV)
  4. Cleveland voters will decide on Tuesday which two mayoral candidates will face off in November. (WKSU News)
  5. Firefighters were called to the 2300 block of E. 61st Street twice in one day, as two separate fires broke out at the same Cleveland apartment complex on Monday. (Cleveland 19 News)
