Here are the top three stories today in Cleveland:

  1. Local musicians and local cultural groups join forces to host Sonyashnyk, a musical benefit supporting Ukraine. The event will be on Apr. 8 at 6:30 p.m. with tickets starting at $50. Proceeds will be split between Cleveland Maidan Association, the Ukraine Crisis Relief Fund, and World Central Kitchen. (cleveland.com)
  2. The county's Justice Center Steering Committee will be voting on Tuesday to decide where to build the new Cuyahoga County jail. The vote is over whether or not to pursue a 44-acre industrial plot near Tremont. The project has been in a three-year stalemate due to the issue of how many inmates the new jail will house. 3. Frank Russo, the former Cuyahoga County Auditor, has died at the age of 72. Russo's career ended after he admitted to taking more than $1 million in bribes while working for the county. He received 22 years in federal prison in 2010. (WKYC.com)
