Unidentified Man Found Shot In Head In Crashed Car In Cleveland

The man was rushed to University Hospitals but was later pronounced dead.

CLEVELAND — An unidentified man was found shot to death inside a crashed car on Sunday.

At 4:30 p.m., an out-of-control car slammed into two other vehicles on E. 105th Street. When police arrived, they found the driver had been shot in the head. He was rushed to University Hospitals by EMS, but was pronounced dead by doctors.

The driver has not yet been identified, investigators said.

Police believe the driver was parked on E. 105th when six men approached him and then fired multiple gunshots into his car.

The driver tried to escape, slamming on the gas but only going a short distance before crashing, police said.

The suspects took off running and have not yet been identified, Cleveland police said.

The shooting is still under investigation. The Cleveland police homicide unit has taken over the case.
