Unidentified Man Shot To Death At Bus Stop In Cleveland

Police found a dead man at a bus stop in the E. 140th and St. Clair area on Thursday. So far, they've been unable to identify the body.

CLEVELAND, OH — At about 3:15 a.m. on Thursday, police officers found a dead man at a bus stop in the E. 140th and St. Clair area. There were multiple gunshot wounds on the man's body, mostly in the torso area. The body was discovered by Transit Police.

The body was found on the sidewalk inside the bus stop. EMS arrived at the scene and pronounced the man dead.

There were no witnesses in the area when police arrived, according to Cleveland Police. There were also no reports of shots being fired in the area.

Both the Homicide Unit and the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office were called to the scene. They were unable to determine the man's identity, but the Medical Examiner's Office is continuing to investigate and will try to determine who the man was.
