'Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!' Live Taping Coming To Ohio

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH — NPR's famous comedy quiz show "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!" will do a special live taping at the Blossom Music Center this summer.

The show will roll into town July 18 at 8 p.m. The Peabody Award-winning comedy news quiz show is hosted by Peter Sagal. A rotating panel of comedians, writers, listener contestants, and celebrity guests take part in a review of the week's news.

Contestants vie for an extraordinary prize: a custom-recorded greeting by any of the cast members. The panelists for the Blossom Music Center recording have not yet been announced.

The show will be broadcast locally on 90.3 and 89.7. National NPR affiliates will being airing the program on July 20.

Attendees will be able to watch the on-stage action on LED screens hung throughout the Pavilion of Blossom.

Tickets for the event will go on sale April 15 at 9 a.m. Lawn tickets are $29 and Pavilion tickets are $39.

The event is the result of a collaboration between the Cleveland Orchestra, 90.3 WCPN ideastream, and 89.7 WKSU.
