Suicide in the Workplace: Key Things Leaders Need to Know Health Action Council sponsors free webinar by international expert on suicide
CLEVELAND, OH - Health Action Council will sponsor a free webinar hosted by Dan Reidenberg, managing director of the National Council for Suicide Prevention and executive director of SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education). Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S. and the third leading cause of death among adults.

The webinar – “Suicide in the Workplace: Key Things Leaders Need to Know” – will be held Friday, October 25, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time. To register or for more information, visit https://healthactioncouncil.org/Events/Suicide-in-the-Workplace- KeyThings-Leaders-Need.

During the webinar, workplace leaders will learn some of the basic concepts that every employer should be thinking about. These include policies, roles, awareness, intervention, and postvention. Dr. Reidenberg will also discuss the impact that suicidal attempts and thoughts, as well as actual deaths by suicide, have on leaders, managers, co-workers, and supervisors.
