Wind Advisory Issued For Cuyahoga County
The National Weather Service says winds could hit 50 mph on Tuesday night.

CLEVELAND, OH - A wind advisory for Cuyahoga County has been put in place by the National Weather Service (NWS). Expect rain showers to accompany the wind.
The NWS says wind gusts could be travelling as fast as 50 mph. Average wind speed will be between 20 and 30 mph. The strongest wind gusts will bowl through the area until late afternoon. Winds on Lake Erie are expected to reach gale force on Tuesday and Tuesday night, the NWS says. The wind advisory is currently set to expire at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
If you're planning on hitting the road today, the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) reminds you that Tuesday's nasty weather is expected to bring 50 mph wind gusts. Keep both hands on the wheel, drive slower than usual, and be extra vigilant during commutes on Tuesday.

Tree limbs and power lines are at risk during the storm, so expect power outages to sweep through parts of Cuyahoga County on Tuesday.
Rainfall is expected to drench Northeast Ohio throughout the rest of the week, with rain hitting particularly hard on Thursday and Friday, the NWS says. An area of low pressure is expected to move through the Ohio Valley on Thursday and Friday, bringing a prolonged bout of rain. The NWS expects rainfall to exceed an inch in most areas. The organization also anticipates winds again reaching gale force on Thursday.
