Wind gusts could hit 50 mph on Wednesday and could cause scattered power outages.
CLEVELAND — A high wind advisory has been issued for Cuyahoga County and much of Northeast Ohio on Wednesday. Wind gusts of up to 50 mph will sweep through the area, the National Weather Service warned.
"Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," the National Weather Service said.
FirstEnergy said there are already 68 customers without power, as of 8 a.m. The majority of the outages are located in Cleveland and East Cleveland.
