Wintry Mix Of Snow, Ice To Hit Northeast Ohio
Blue skies are gone and snow is back. Sorry, Ohio.
CLEVELAND — After a day of 55 degree temperatures and sunny, blue skies, Northeast Ohio will return to its regularly scheduled winter broadcast. A wintry mix of snow, rain and sleet will hit the region on Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
Little snow is expected to accumulate, but the shift in weather may dishearten some Buckeye State residents. A blast of rain is expected to wipe out whatever thin blanket of white does manage to stick around until Thursday afternoon. Then the weather will turn again.
"A period of rain will follow for Thursday, before temperatures fall and a changeover to snow is expected from west to east from Thursday afternoon through evening. A light glaze of ice is possible before it warms above freezing Thursday," the National Weather Service said in a hazardous weather outlook.

Unfortunately, anyone hoping for a quick return to unseasonably warm weather will be disappointed. The current forecast for the week shows a smattering of snow showers on Thursday and Friday and temperatures rarely climbing out of the low 30s.
Little to no snow accumulation is currently predicted for this week, which is a silver lining. Temperatures should start to rise early next week, possibly on Monday.
