Woman Found Dead After Standoff In Old Brooklyn
SWAT units were called to a house on Archmere when a man refused to open the door to police.

CLEVELAND, OH — A 62-year-old woman was killed Tuesday. Police arrested a 56-year-old man after a short stand-off at a home on Archmere in the Old Brooklyn neighborhood.
Police say the man called 911 and said he had shot a family member. When police arrived at the home, the 56-year-old refused to open the door. That's when SWAT was brought to the scene.
Officers were eventually able to get into the home and clear it. The 56-year-old was arrested without further incident. Police also found the body of the 62-year-old woman at the scene.

The 56-year-old has been identified as Richard Williams, cleveland.com reports.
Police are still investigating the incident. The victim has not been identified and police are not sure how, or if, Williams may be connected to the woman.
