Alternative High School grad joins Bloomberg News bureau in Washington, DC

Mia Kraus (Class of 2022, Columbus Alternative High School) joins the Bloomberg News bureau in Washington, DC, as a production assistant for the show Balance of Power.

In May, Kraus graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University, with extensive experience. She completed internships at NBC4 in Columbus (2024) and FOX News Special Report with Bret Baier in Washington, DC (2025).

At Ohio University, Kraus worked three years for the student-run publication The New Political.
