America's Floor Source & Shaw Floors Hosted “Dog Days of Summer” Community Event Featuring AKC Demonstrations

COLUMBUS, Ohio — America's Floor Source, in partnership with Shaw Floors, hosted "Dog Days of Summer," a free community event celebrating pets, families and summer fun on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Designed as an interactive experience for pet lovers and families alike, the event featured live dog agility demonstrations, disc dog performances, AKC Meet the Breeds opportunities, food trucks, music, giveaways and family-friendly activities throughout the afternoon.

In addition to hosting the event, America's Floor Source donated 10% of the profits from all Shaw products — including Anderson Tuftex and COREtec — sold from Thursday, June 11 through Saturday, June 13 at its Columbus location. Proceeds went directly to the ASPCA Cruelty Recovery Center.

Special guests included Jennifer Crank, a record-setting dog agility star, along with the Columbus All-Breed Training Club, who hosted demonstrations showcasing the athleticism, intelligence and training of competitive dogs. Columbus Crew player autograph opportunities and appearances by Crew Cat were also part of the festivities.

In addition to demonstrations and entertainment, attendees had the opportunity to explore pet-friendly flooring products and learn more about durable flooring solutions designed for active homes. The first 200 attendees received a complimentary meal from one of four on-site food trucks: Ninja Bowl, Taquitos Truck, Worldwide Catering & Events or Kona Ice Little Buckeye.

Event activities included AKC Meet the Breeds experiences, live agility demonstrations, disc dog performances, Shaw Floors product demonstrations, food trucks, live DJ entertainment, giveaways and prizes, and Crew player autograph opportunities.
