Investigators say surveillance video, a forced entry, and the suspect's own statements link him to breaking in and igniting a bag, leading to a felony aggravated arson charge.

3. The Continent was 'a city within a city' and a popular Columbus destination (dispatch.com) — Columbus residents may remember The Continent as a once-bustling "city within a city" on the North Side that pioneered mixed-use living, shopping, and nightlife in the 1970s and 1980s. The complex's French Market, cinemas, and packed plazas have largely faded, but its apartments remain occupied and its design stands as a time capsule of an earlier era in local development.

4. BuckeyeThon kicks off with 5k race, aims to raise funds for pediatric cancer patients (nbc4i.com) — BuckeyeThon's year-long fundraising push is underway in Columbus, with a 5K run through Ohio State's campus supporting pediatric cancer patients at Nationwide Children's Hospital.
