Healthcare professional Steve Wishart takes ownership of Assisted Living Locators of East Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Assisted Living Locators of East Columbus, a senior placement and referral service, is under new ownership. Healthcare professional Steve Wishart has purchased the franchise from former owner Miriam Bogard and will continue helping local seniors and their families navigate care decisions with confidence.
Wishart brings significant experience in home health and hospice care to his new role. His decision to enter the senior care industry was also shaped by his personal experience helping his parents and other family members find appropriate care during their senior years.
"Families often feel overwhelmed by the number of senior care options and uncertain about where to begin," Wishart said. "I understand those challenges personally and professionally. I look forward to helping families understand the resources available to them and identify solutions that fit their loved one's needs."
Assisted Living Locators of East Columbus serves Westerville, New Albany, Gahanna, Pickerington, Lancaster, Newark and Sunbury. Wishart said the opportunity to acquire an established Assisted Living Locators franchise was particularly appealing because it allowed him to build on Bogard's success while benefiting from her guidance during the transition.

As the new owner, Wishart plans to strengthen relationships with senior living communities and local professionals while expanding educational and social media outreach. He is especially looking forward to meeting directly with seniors and their families, touring communities with them and sharing resources that can make the decision-making process easier.
