Columbus Zoo Welcomes Moms, Grandmas For Free On Mother's Day
That's between an $11.99 and $21.99 value.

COLUMBUS, OH — The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium letting moms in for free for Mother's Day this year.
The zoo says on its website that grandmothers and mothers alike get free admission May 13 as part of its event "Mother's Day At The Zoo." That's between an $11.99 and $21.99 value.
The only catch is that they must be accompanied by their children or grandchildren, regardless of how old they are.

Children's tickets will remain at the regular admission rates, which are determined by age.
The zoo, located on the north side of Columbus next to the Scioto River, near Interstate 71. It is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those who go could check out some of the zoo's newest members, including three recently hatched Humboldt penguin chicks, five new Asian small-clawed otter pups and a baby, silver-leafed langur.
The zoo also has two new stage shows: "Wild Africa, Presented By The Goddard School" and "Surfin’ Safari."
The complex spans 588 acres. Its habitats are organized into six geographic regions: Asia Quest, Australia and the Islands, Congo Expedition, Heart of Africa, North America and Polar Frontier and Shores.
The zoo also sees more than two million visitors a year.
