Enchanted Care Learning Center Donates to U.S. Service Members

Students at Enchanted Care Learning Center in Powell recently donated more than 150 items for deployed U.S. service members through the organization America’s Adopt A Soldier. Over the past few weeks, students worked together to collect snacks, tissues, lip balm, notebooks, pens, disposable cameras and more. The donations will be shipped to a platoon in Afghanistan. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to those who serve and protect the country.

America’s Adopt A Soldier’s mission is to make a difference in the lives of veterans, soldiers and their families. The organization’s goal is to ensure that every deployed service member and veteran in a veteran’s home or hospital receives a care package or care letter.
