Enchanted Care Students Hold Celebratory Ladybug Release

Students recognized Earth Day by visiting residents at The Inn at Olentangy Trail to release 6,000 ladybugs to help local vegetation

Students at Enchanted Care Learning Center and Enchanted Care Kids Campus in Delaware have caught the environmental bug! On April 22, students celebrated Earth Day and taking care of the planet by visiting residents at The Inn at Olentangy Trail and releasing 6,000 ladybugs back into the environment on plants, flowers and trees. Students were dressed for the occasion, wearing ladybug hats.

Leading up to Earth Day, students learned that ladybugs serve as a natural pesticide by feeding on insects that could otherwise harm the health of gardens, trees and shrubs. Enchanted Care teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
