Enchanted Care Students Hold Fashion Show and Ladybug Release
Students recognized Earth Day by modeling outfits made from recycled materials and by releasing 2,000 ladybugs in their schoolyard
Students at Enchanted Care Learning Center in Powell have caught the environmental bug! On April 22, students celebrated Earth Day and taking care of the planet by parading around their school in a fashion show, modeling outfits they made with recycled materials. Following the fashion show, students released 2,000 ladybugs throughout the schoolyard and back into the environment on plants, flowers and trees.
Leading up to Earth Day, students learned that ladybugs serve as a natural pesticide by feeding on insects that could otherwise harm the health of gardens, trees and shrubs. Enchanted Care teaches the importance of community and exploring nature at an early age.
