Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's Open House

Join the Alzheimer’s Association and the Walk Planning Committee as they Kick Off the 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Season on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Summa Western Reserve Hospital located at 1900 23rd Street, Cuyahoga Falls, OH  44223.  

Enjoy an evening designed to inspire each other and learn ways to implement easy FUNdraising ideas, learn how to engage others, join a team or donate to a team, and also learn about ways to promote the mission of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The event will include complimentary delicious hors d’oeuvres, beverages and also door prizes.

Proceeds from the Walk to End Alzheimer’s being held Sunday, October 6, 2013 at The University of Akron Stile Athletics Field House will support local programs, services and research to combat Alzheimer’s disease, which now affects more than 60,000 individuals in the Greater East Ohio Area Chapter and their 250,000 family members and caregivers.   Today more than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease.  Sign up for the walk today or find a walk near you at alz.org/walk.
