WOW!! What an excellent turn out for the first Ward 7 Neighborhood Awareness Group.Β Β Our April 10th meeting at Price Elementary School has proven to be fruitful as we now have almost 50Β Ward 7 Residents that have committedΒ to participating.Β For those of you that missed the meeting,Β participants had their choice of three seperate divisions of the group for which they could join.Β Β 1.) "Mobile volunteers". These are folks that patrol by bike or auto. 2.) "Street Walkers".Β Β This division is for those that typically walk for exercise or exercise their dogs. 3.) "Work from Home".Β This third division is for those residents that prefer to simplyΒ Β keep an eye out in their immediate area.Β Division 3 volunteers can also participate if they have a police scanner. This is useful for communicating with division 1 volunteers toΒ assist with information that could be given to the police.Β
