Ward 7 Neighborhood Awareness Group

WOW!! What an excellent turn out for the first Ward 7 Neighborhood Awareness Group.  Our April 10th meeting at Price Elementary School has proven to be fruitful as we now have almost 50 Ward 7 Residents that have committed to participating.  For those of you that missed the meeting, participants had their choice of three seperate divisions of the group for which they could join.  1.) "Mobile volunteers". These are folks that patrol by bike or auto. 2.) "Street Walkers".  This division is for those that typically walk for exercise or exercise their dogs. 3.) "Work from Home".  This third division is for those residents that prefer to simply   keep an eye out in their immediate area.  Division 3 volunteers can also participate if they have a police scanner. This is useful for communicating with division 1 volunteers to assist with information that could be given to the police.
