Artists with Disabilities Team Up with Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation
Meet the artists behind the work January 15, as Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation hosts art exhibition for artists with disabilities.

Summit County Developmental Disabilities Board (Summit DD) invites the community to the opening reception for its Dream Out Loud Studio art exhibition. The reception will be held at the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation gallery, 10 W. Streetsboro Street in Hudson, on January 15, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Summit DD’s Dream Out Loud Studio is an art studio where fine artists with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to hone creative skills, enjoy personal expression, gain independence, and flourish, both as artists and valuable members of the community.
Senior Program Officer of the Margaret Clark Morgan Foundation, Brenda Schneider, talked about the importance of highlighting artists of all abilities. “Accessibility is the biggest impact in the arts,” Schneider stated. “Accessibility to art, and to those who create it. Art engages community. People can meet and talk to the artists, and find out that it is being created by people just like them.”
